Okay, so to give you a bit of info...We are actually in the final BIG stage of our adoption....It has been by far the most frustrating also. We have been in what is called PGN (the final Guatemalan Govt. approval process) for A LONG TIME NOW! We were originally submitted on 3-29-07. We spent almost 11 weeks in PGN and then found out that we were KO'ed for a small mistake in one of our forms from the US Embassy. Our attorney quickly had the issue resolved and we were resubmitted to the PGN on 6-12-07.
Long story short, most anything could happen but as always I am believing it will move through with no other issues. We have seen many resubmits that have been approved about 8 weeks after the resubmit. I am praying for a much faster turn around. Anything could happen with this process....Some families have paperwork that sails through PGN in just a month or so, then most others have at least 1 KO and sometimes many more. Please keep Bianca in your prayers, specifically that she will be happy, healthy, and sent home with her mom and dad ASAP!!!!
So, we all wait for that fantastic day where we hear that golden word....OUT!!!!

I read every comment and looked at every picture. Thanks for letting me share this experience with you. I remember seeing Bianca's pictures the first time on the computer at McAlister's. On one hand, seems like yesterday; on the other, a lifetime ago. I can't wait to be a part of her life. Thanks for being such a blessing in my life. I love you both, Cheri
